This Privacy Policy explains how AWS NextGen IT LTD ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the ScanMint AI mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. The Short Version
- Your documents stay on your device. Scans, PDFs, signatures, and files you create or open in ScanMint AI are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, read, or store your documents on our servers.
- We collect your email address to create and secure your account.
- We use trusted third-party services (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat) for sign-in, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and subscription management.
- We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information We Collect

3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- The content of your scans, documents, PDFs, signatures, notes, or files — these remain on your device.
- Your camera images or microphone audio — the camera is used only to scan documents on-device, and the microphone is used only for the speech-to-text feature. Speech recognition may be processed by your device's operating system services (Apple / Google) subject to their privacy policies.
- Your contacts, location, or photos beyond files you explicitly choose to open or save.
4. Device Permissions
- Camera — to scan documents. Images are processed and stored locally.
- Microphone / Speech recognition — only when you use the speech-to-text tool.
- Files & storage — to open, save, and export documents you choose. On Android, the optional "All files access" permission is used solely to find and manage documents on your device; no file contents are transmitted to us.
- Notifications — to inform you about important account or app events, if you allow them.
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings; the related feature will simply stop working.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following service providers, which process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob (rewarded advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy
- RevenueCat (subscription management) — revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple App Store / Google Play (payments) — payments are handled entirely by the platform.
6. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the App and your account;
- To detect and prevent multiple-device session abuse;
- To process subscriptions and restore purchases;
- To measure feature usage and improve the App;
- To diagnose and fix crashes and bugs;
- To show optional rewarded ads to free users;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for purposes unrelated to operating the App.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- Analytics and crash data are retained per Firebase's standard retention periods.
- You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings) or by emailing us at admin@awsnextgenit.com. Deleting your account removes your account data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
- Documents stored on your device are under your control; deleting the App deletes locally stored documents.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the UK and EU/EEA under GDPR, and California under the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, contact us at admin@awsnextgenit.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Security
All communication between the App and our service providers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS). Access to account data is restricted and protected by Firebase's security infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Transfers
Our service providers (Google, RevenueCat) may process data on servers located in other countries, including the United States. They maintain safeguards required by applicable data-protection law for such transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
